#Baseball and #Football and every other sport are some of my favorite examples of anarchy. Sports are totally decentralized, yet permeate the entire world. None of it arose through any state or government edict. Whichever continent you go to, you can find various races, colors, and creeds playing together -- and basically using the exact same rules people on the other side of the world use -- even though theyve never communicated with each other ever (except through industry and markets). Entire industries are established spontaneouly through the invisible hand of the market in support of them to meet demand, supplying everything players and fans need to continue playing. Rules are followed with the task of enforcement (without using force, mind you! Hah!) agreed on by the parties involved. Happiness, love, and friendship connections emerge for fans and players alike. Respect is awarded to warrior opponents who sacrifice so much to become the best at what they do. Jobs are created, and various levels of profession (for fun, novice, amateur, or professional) pursued. One side always fails, and must return home to work harder if they want to win next time. One side is victorious and earns the spoils of victory -- all voluntarily. Sports are beautiful, and I would say infinitely more fun and more important than the maniacal state or its monopololy on the legal use of violence and aggression and the politics that come with it. And practically never is violence a factor in any of it -- except when the mental disease of nationalism shows its ugly head. So, my prescription is to abandon all of the state, and invest time and energy into your favorite teams and athletes who work tirelessly to win games for themselves and (often) the people they represent. One last thing to point out. Athletes and the teams they participate in often are representatives or ambassadors of a specific geographical area, and yet not one person in that area ever casted a ballot for any of them. They are only supported with the local medium of exchange ie money. This market process has proven to be a much more effective than political democracy. #Agorist PS #DODGERSBABY!
