"Be wise in the way you act with people who are not believers, making the most of every opportunity. When you talk, you should always be kind and pleasant so you will be able to answer everyone in the way you should" (Colossians 4:5-6). How many of us as Christians sadly profess the idea in our words and actions: do as I say and not as I do? We have bummer stickers on our cars, wear Christian t-shorts, and make sure that others know we attend a religious service at least one day of the weekend; yet when it comes to truly being the hands and feet of Jesus, we take little or no initiative. Being a Christian is more than us being saved by Christ- it is the want and desire for others who have not yet met Him to capitalize on the opportunity by witnessing the lives we live.
