“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” Matthew 6:26 One of the greatest joys in the Christian life is the knowledge of the wonderful truth that there is a precious relationship existing between us and the Creator and Sustainer of the universe, the Almighty God. He is our Father. Our Heavenly Father loved us and gave His only Son so that we may be delivered from the penalty of sin through repentance to Him and faith towards what Christ did for us. He is indeed the Greatest Dad that we could ever have. We are assured of His unwavering faithfulness and unconditional love. He would be with us wherever we go. Regardless of our situation He would always be eager to show His comfort and provisions towards His saints. He can be counted on both in good times and bad times. He will forever look after the well being of His sons and daughters. He is our Father, and we are His children forever! No one and nothing could ever change this fact. Without Him in our lives means misery and wretchedness. Praise God we belong to His family. . As His children, we should be able to learn to completely lean on Him and His promises. A blessed and Happy Father’s Day to all the dads who are here this morning. We must be thankful to God for giving us human fathers who love us and care about us. As children, may we love them and pray for them as they do their best to perform their responsibilities to their respective families. Let’s commit them to the Lord as they endeavour to follow the pattern of God’s Fatherhood in raising and loving their children.
