~ Being a single mother ~ My girl friend shared with my yesterday how great Im doing with being a single mother to my babies, she shared with me that I go above and beyond all means to make their worlds the best Im able too. Not only do I give them my time, but I do everything that is needed to help them with their passions and also to learn new things and continue on with things that they are getting into. She shared how I dont give them the best of the best, I give them what they need. I do everything Im able to for them, even with out a full time job and not having alot of extra cash ( nill at that ) or alot of extra time, because Im working very diligently on being the best mother Im able too all the while working everywhere Im able to while trying to keep up with the bills, Im learning that Im everything I wanted to have when I was a little girl. Not that I wanted to have new clothes, new toys or new material things, all I wanted was to be loved and supported in everything that I do. Today, Im that for my children. Im grateful that Im able to attend my childrens lives and that for today, Im doing the best Im able to with them and that knowing that God trusted me with them, I need to everything possible for them-- NOT my selfish wants, but to put everything in priority and that means: 1.) My Beliefs in a Higher Power 2.) Taking GREAT care of myself and my program 3.) My children 4. ) ALL ELSE If you want to stay connected to your children, dont hand them money or material items, hand them your hand and heart. You wont regret it, nor will they for when we are all on our death beds, it wont be with items, itll be with the hearts of those we love that matter most. *Outta here to spend more time with the little ones.
