“Below is a cross-post from Dave Lordan. Dave was recently interviewed by Southword, the online literary journal of the Munster Literature Centre. In parts of the interview Dave made points which some would consider controversial. The interview was published last week and was widely shared on social media over the following days. Then, today, Pat Cotter, Director of the Munster Literature Centre, added an extensive disclaimer which now appears immediately before the interview. I can honestly say that I have never known an arts administrator to intervene in a literary publication in this way.” (My husband wrote these comments - I agree with him and am therefore sharing.)
