To the Point.” “I’m sorry sir, I’d do it my way and I know thats right” As long as I said that with pride, I realized he had marked a zero for all the questions which technically were correct. But it wasn’t about the marks or grades, it was about my self-respect. It was about the knowledge that I had gained and practiced and tried to experiment. But I experimented it in wrong place, wrong exam, wrong university, and probably wrong country. I couldn’t explain that to anyone and I didn’t seem to find that point on which I was wrong. The point on whose basis I was denied what I deserved. I felt weak and defeated. I felt like a puppet in their hands. I quit. I didn’t care to study that subject anymore but I passed. When the results came out, my teacher was very much disappointed with me and no doubt I was much more disappointed with him. He came to me and said, ” I know you were right, but you must know we have to go with the system” ” Sir, you must know as well that, system is for us, we are not for the system” and I left. #InsideIIT
