#BigQuestions Jesus, Our Lord, commanded us to Deny Self, Take Up The Cross & Follow Him... And many 21st Century Preachers demanded that we Discover Ourselves and Individually Pursue The Fulfilment Of Our Unique Purposes 1. Are these two assertions the same? 2. Can one follow the two and still be in Harmony with God? 3. Can we follow the second without having conflict with the first? 4. Is it possible that the 2nd assertion has replaced the first in our Churches? 5. Can we ignore the first by following the second and still arrive safely in Heaven? 6. Is it possible to Deny what you are spending energy and resources to Discover? 7. If you must Deny Yourself, of what use is it to still go ahead to Discover Yourself? 8. Does Self-Discovery really lead to Recovery? 9. Is Self-Discovery not the shortcut to Rebellion? 10. Can we really Practice Self-Discovery and Self-Denial together as Believers? Anyone To Help Me Clarify These Seemingly Doctrinal Conflicting Matters?
