Born To The Blues My story begins a long time ago, way back when I was born to the blues, Here I am still lonesome and so, I guess at love Im always going to lose. My storys the same as each year passes by, why Im so lonesome, there arent any clues, sometimes I could just lay down my head and die, I keep wishing I wasnt born to the blues. Lord, if you could find a mate for me, you know Ive been paying my dues, being lonesome instead of happy, I guess I was just born to the blues. My storys still the same old bad news, the day I die, my story will end, on my stone itll say, born to the blues, because there was no one, my lonesome heart to mend.
