#BrittanyMaynard chose to end her life Saturday after moving to Oregon where she intended to die – under Oregons Death with Dignity Act – by taking a fatal dose of barbiturates, prescribed to her by a doctor, when her suffering became too great. She was told she had 6 months to live after being diagnosed with stage IV Glioblastoma Brain cancer- the same cancer that my father is currently battling. Because if the aggressiveness of the cancer, She chose to die on her OWN terms, instead of suffering through chemo and radiation, which would have inevitably killed her if the cancer did not. Her choice not only sheds light on our rights as humans (or lack there of- considering this right is only available in 5 states) but sheds light on our treatment protocols. After finding out about her wishes, Myself and many others, thought was why hasnt she tried cannabis oil!? Several supporters reached out to her and her team to try and inform her of the incredible success with oils and brain tumors... Apparently she did start them but We believe it was too late for her by the time she did- its a lesson for all of us to look beyond our doctors protocols, do your own research-We can save our own lives! We just need the will, knowledge, and mind set to do so. I would encourage anyone who has cancer to look into treatment using cannabis oil. Whether its legal in your state or not...find it! Find the right provider, make sure the oils are extracted with the right stuff, change your diet- these elements along with chemo (at times) work to kill cancer cells.
