“But those who are outside, God judges. REMOVE THE WICKED MAN FROM AMONG YOURSELVES.” 1 Corinthians 5:13 (NASB) Do you have things in your life you know the Bible says are sin but you think they dont apply to you or that because of this or that you have some exception? Check your behavior, your language and attitude and see if they line up with what God says. Do you try to read the bible but give up because you dont understand or worse because you dont like what it says? If any of this is true, then you need to ask yourself this question; Are you saved by faith in Jesus? But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 (NASB) If you are saved by faith in Jesus then you should be answering the following questions yes! Are you hungering for Gods Word (1 Peter 2:2)? Are you diligently searching Gods Word (Acts 17:11)? Please, ask God to show you your true condition and relationship with Him and ask Him to draw you, to pull you to Him. You may claim the name Christian or say you are saved, but look at scripture. I dont know if you are saved or not and dont write this to judge anyones salvation but to encourage you to be sure of your relationship with God based on His word and not on your own ideas. Lewis If you dont love and obey God that is not much of a relationship is it? If you talk and act like the world that is not much of a testimony for you being a new creation in Christ is it? God wants you healthy! If you are healthy continue to grow and nurture yourself spiritually. If you are not healthy, then today is the day to turn from sin and self to God. It doesn’t matter what you have done, Jesus death on the cross covered that sin and God wants you to come to Him. He is drawing you to repentance and to a walk totally yielded to Him. Please say YES. Please get to a Bible believing and preaching church with some type of Sunday School type program this Sunday and get involved in studying the Bible and growing. Learn from mature Christian friends that will disciple you and help hold you accountable: help you learn to live by faith, not a list of rules. True love for God will produce obedience to Him and His Word and lead to you becoming healthier spiritually.
