*CALLIE UPDATE* Her fever keeps going up. Its stable right now, but if its like it was yesterday it could shoot back up to 104 in an hour. Theyre doing a 48 hr IV antibiotic to cover a broad range of possible causes. They want her 24 hrs fever free before we leave. So well be here again tonight. They did an abdominal x-ray today, to rule out a few things. The fever started after they did the biopsy Thursday. During the biopsy they went down through her mouth with a camera and ultrasound to reach a level even with the pancreas. They had to stick a needle through her intestines to reach the pancreas. Any time the intestines is punctured, even with a needle, theres risk of infection. The blood and urine cultures came back good, but they said if its an infection from the needle puncture, they dont always show up in blood cultures. Thats all I know right now, thank yall for loving my baby and praying for her.
