Less than a week after Tom Gantert gave his reasons why Michigan State won’t make the playoff with one loss, the entire college football media world (including the SECs home network) and Las Vegas gamblers are saying that’s exactly what will happen. And let’s not mention Tom’s jinxing of Oregon last Thursday night, saying their next “tough game” was still weeks away, just hours before they got beat by Arizona. Last year, it took an entire season to demonstrate he was wrong about college football. Now the timeline is compressed to mere days, or even hours. What is happening here is the compression of the universe toward the Gantert Inaccuracy Singularity (GIS.) As the spacetime between Gantert statements and their falsification decreases, the range of inaccuracy will increase. Soon Tom will be wrong about baseball, basketball, the weather ... even the Jackson Wal-Mart. We will eventually reach Perfect Inaccuracy of Gantert (PIG), a point at which we can paradoxically predict anything with 100 percent certainty, merely by asking Tom his opinion and assuming he is wrong.
