The single hit the airwaves 12/08/1984, spent 14 weeks on the country charts & peaked at #20. As much as I remember hearing it on the radio, you’d think it charted higher. After 1975’s “Misty” (#3, 2 weeks; featured earlier), it was only his 4th country Top 20, preceded by 1976’s “You Are So Beautiful” (#16), 1980’s “Shriner’s Convention” (#8) & 1980’s “Night Games” (#20).
