*) CHANGE IS A STATE OF BEING: We consider that change occurs when the circumstances ether inside or outside ourselves get different, when something becomes different than it used to be. From the Essassani´s view point it is no so; It bases the concept of change unique and exclusively in our response to any given event, not considering at all the difference that can be in the circumstances, weather they are inside or outside ourselves. CHANGE IS BASED IN THE WAY WE RESPOND TO ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS; AGAINST THE SAME OR SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCE, IF WE RESPOND DIFERENTLY, WE HAVE CHANGED. CHANGE HAS OCURRED. IF AGAINST THE SAME OR SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCE WE RESPOND AS WE USED TO, WE HAVE NOT CHANGED. CHANGE HAS NOT OCURRED. It is easy to wonder why this understanding… Because IT IS ABSOLUTELY SELF-EMPOWERING: As I shared in the previous point “CIRCUMSTANCES DO NOT MATTER, ONLY STATE OF BEING MATTERS”, WHAT HAPPENS IS ALMOST IRRELEVANT IN COMPARATION WITH THE IMPORTANCE OF HOW WE RESPOND, BECAUSE WHAT IS GOING ON NOW IS THE PRODUCT OF THE ENERGY WE GAVE OFF, THE WAY WE RESPONDED “IN THE PAST”. HOW WE RESPOND TO WHAT IS GOING ON NOW IS WHAT MAKES OUR “FUTURE”, so, to pay attention to the circumstances is important, but WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN OUR ABILITY TO RESPOND IN THE WAY WE PREFFER. THAT IS CHANGE!!! THAT IS WHAT IS TRULY IMPORTANT AND RELEVANT!!!
