A volunteer writes ~♥ I love his little impish face!! Chop was so quiet in his kennel all day and finally at the end of the day he stood up and I knew he really needed to go out. Earlier in the day kennel staff had pointed him out telling me what an awesome dog he is, so I was saving the best for last! Chop has a face that reflects some possible boxer lineage, square jaw and muzzle - just way too cute! His leash manners are lovely, an easy peaceful walk at the end of the day. He pottied as soon as we were out the door, peeing a small river that he had been holding all day. Posing for pictures like a pro, he enjoys some reward treats and then we go on. He LOVED meeting other dogs, particularly a male pittie that made his tail go into helicopter mode. Chop is quiet, affectionate and sweet, curling up for some cuddles when we sit down together. I called him chop chop and he responded to it, so that may be close to the sound of his name pre shelter. Chop is a bit too thin and is looking forward to his new family who will feed him well, and love him even better. In the words of kennel staff, he really is awesome.
