★☆★CLARIFICATION to STOP Bill C 27 PEACEFUL RALLY★☆★ [Official Video] BILL C-27 Accountability and Transparency Act.(BILL C 27) is a Colony Act. Definition: Colony - In politics and history, a colony is a territory under the immediate political control of a state. A SYSTEM THAT DEMANDS A SYSTEM OF ACCOUNTABILITY from a (SELF-GOVERNED NATION) is not a Government to Government System. (All this information is already available to BAND MEMBERS through the department of aboriginal affairs by request), this is a Conservative Tactic to put First Nations at a disadvantage with other Canadians. It’s really unacceptable and does not meet the needs of First Nations and imposes a burden on a small segment of Canadians “Oppression”. The government of Canada agrees that it has a (Government to Government System), but yet it won’t treat the “First Nations” as it does others. This is not the way to do business; it was not (Government to Government), the hypocrisy of this bill treats First Nations as wards to the Canadian Government. We have a quality in this Country; we have equality as a guiding principal as a Country, as Canadians. But where is the equality? Hypocrisy plays a big role in the Conservative Government; clearly this government has been one of the most secretive governments in the history of Canada. International agencies that monitor “ACCESS TO INFORMATION” have taken us from 4th place in the world to 52nd place, in our ability to access information from our government. Hypocrisy - the claim or pre-tense of holding beliefs, feelings, standards, qualities, opinions, behaviours, virtues, motivations, or other characteristics that one does not in actual fact hold. It is the practice of engaging in the same behaviour or activity for which one criticizes another. In terms of information that’s given, when the Conservative Government came into power the average redaction of information was 15%, it’s now 47%. WHY? Has the nature of government changed so much? Is secrecy so important? Well if it’s so important Conservative Government, then why are they insisting that “First Nations Government” that they have to show everything to everyone in this country? They want to post First Nations financial information on a website available for every nitpicker in Canada to look at, everyone with a grudge against “First Nations” to go there and go through their dirty-laundry to look for something to use against First Nations. That’s what this government wants to do to “First Nations”, that’s what they’re doing with this Bill-C 27. The Conservative Government could just as easily given First Nations incentives; enable First Nations to develop their own information systems. As many First Nations communities already have, and continue to do within their respective communities. The Government slaps this decision on all of Canada, instead of dealing Government to Government. Conservative Government has been treating First Nations with less than respect, when the Conservative Government has done very bad things in Accountability and Transparency Act in Canada. They created an ACT which was “The office of parliament re-budget Officer”, saying it would make the government more accountable. Since that day, the conservative government has denied access to the Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO), delayed the release of information and most recently the PBO had to threaten court action for the release of information that he needs to provide parliamentarians with the facts they need to properly review the Conservative Budget and other financial statements. Conservative is a public Government, so why the secrecy within parliament? Information that is supposed to be available open to every citizen of the country, because when it comes to environment; The Conservative Government has muzzled all the Canadian Scientist, shut-down the investigation to climate change, taken out the experimental lakes area, closed artic research centres, it muzzles Canadian scientist from speaking in public. WHAT IS IT ABOUT SCIENCE THAT THE CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT, WANT TO HIDE ABOUT SCIENCE OR, ENVIRONMENT?
