** CLASSES AT POINT CLARE SCHOOL ** Apart from the Friday class starting tomorrow, classes will be available on Thursday evenings from July. I was going to start from 3/7 however a little birdie told me its school holidays in July (all my kids have 4 legs and fur so Im unaware of such things LOL). So the Thursday classes will now be available from 17th July (will start as soon as enough dogs booked in). These will be PRIMARY PUPPY - new age band 4 months to 8 months old. Given that 85-90% of dogs in Canine Basics are between these ages anyway it shouldnt exclude too many dogs and will allow me to focus on young adolescent behaviours (Canine Basics for dogs over 4 months - no upper age limit, still available Saturdays/Somersby and the Friday/Point Clare classes). The 6pm class will be join any week - once I have 4 dogs booked in I will get this up and running as new dogs will be joining in as we go along. The 7.30pm class will be a fixed class with set start and finish date (5 weeks), this gives people the choice of either type, the class content will be the same, just different structure. I will need 6 dogs enrolled to get this up and running. With the 2 week later (than planned) start for Thursday classes at Point Clare that allows an additional 2 weeks for those currently attending Tues Canine Basics and Thurs Primary Puppy at West Gosford. Anyone wanting to book in for Thursday Primary Puppy classes at Point Clare - please let me know, this is ideal for those who have attending Kindy Puppy with me or Puppy Pre-school at a vet, but is not a pre-requisite. It will cover lead walking, coming when called, dog-dog social skills, stay, settle, no jumping and other relevant exercises for this age group.
