(CONTINUED) LETTER TO THE SKY & BEYOND... CHAPTER 14 THE FUZZY IDEA The twins think the idea of putting up a prize of zillions to capture Guess Who is a FUZZY - but good idea. A cloud of dust and mirrors, rather than solid gold. They think even solid gold may match her price, if it is guaranteed to be all the gold in this world. But, how will they get all that stuff together? New One says: "We are doing our job beyond the call of duty for sure". Cold Sack responds: "Yes, but what guarantee do we have that we will capture her. Here is the rub: who would actually go after this kind of money? However many millions of the alphabet - who WILL do the count and pay the price? For all that money in this world. Even when cut in half, or installments over time - spread after that day." Just a symbolic or nominal amount, large or small will not do for New One. It has to be one large amount, a strong big sum-total of a number, an account representing TRUE VALUE. "ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL.", says he. Cold Sack says the same. The point is, MONEY is no object. No object at all - just a topic for conversation, a side show - only a side show, if played right. A rather subjective unscientific, but conclusive discussion, at best. The false god with the dollar sign for an icon and all of those numbers appearing to its right. The bigger the better - the fuller amount, the most possible of the credible whole. Thus, a huge amount sitting pretty and iconic - behind bars and in cyberspace - is the SUBJECT of conversation. Let alone the paper and ink in print, the CASH PARK in candle light. Or, the view in broad day light, for the worshipful in the shadows. Where will this money fit? How will the shadow see the "light of day"? Or, fly into pockets of righteousness, SIGNED SEALED & DELIVERED, ADDRESS UNKNOWN of the few and the many. Beyond the horizon - into that place of all those places - address unknown. It is near the end of day and New One is still day dreaming and contemplating these esoteric, but real questions - to finalize his report with the help of Cold Sack. They have to complete a sensible petition for the prize money addressed to the honorable bosses, THE AUTHORITIES - aside from their expense voucher for last few days.
