► CORPORATE STRATEGY ANALYST Applications are invited for the position of Corporate Strategy Analyst. This role reports to the Senior Manager Corporate Strategy and is based in Port Moresby. The incumbent will focus on research, analysis, and evaluation of strategic capital and investment opportunities for Bank South Pacific. Key responsibilities include: • Research Economic, Industry, Market and Organisational conditions • Research, identify and recommend prospective opportunities for business growth within industry markets • Research and support mergers and acquisition activities through direct planning & implementation of planning/tasking/documentation/management co-ordination • Liaise with BSP Project Management Office, to ensure compliance with BSP project management/reporting methodology • Provide support in ensuring efficiency & profitably in the achievement of the Banks strategic plans and targets to the satisfaction of all business stakeholders • Conduct presentations to the Corporate Strategy Office, Finance & Planning SBU and the Executive Committee Group where required • Write business proposals for BSP applying appropriate tools, theories and models to substantiate benefits realisation Requisite qualifications, knowledge and experience include: • Tertiary qualifications preferably at post graduate level in Economics, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Management or Project Management. • Accredited membership with related professional bodies such as CPA PNG, CPA Australia, CMA or FINSIA will be highly regarded. • Advanced technical skills in Risk Management and people process management. • Strong report writing skills with good presentation and communication skills at all levels. • Ability to manage relationships at all organisational levels, internally and externally. • Essential experience in finance, corporate finance, corporate and investment valuation. • 5 years or more experience at Middle Management and leadership roles. • Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.\ An attractive package will be commensurate with skills and experience of the successful applicant.
