#CRAZYONES (cbs): let me start by saying i’m a MAJOR #BUFFY fan so i love most anything w/ sarah michelle gellar in it :) (from ‘cruel intentions’ to ‘ringer’ lol)… and i’m also a BIG-TIME robin williams fan (my fave movie w/ him is ‘hook’ among others :))… so when these 2 joined forces for ‘the crazy ones’, i was ecstatic! now, i’ve been watching every epi of the series, and idk what it is, but this show just doesn’t grab me like u’d think it would! robin williams is more tame, and SMG is silly rather than dramatic or actiony like her past roles, so i think that all plays a factor :/// i still adore these two and will watch for as long as the show is on the air out of support for 2 ppl i love :), but yeah, it’s not totally my cup of tea as they say. but damnit, i wish it was! seems tho, that other ppl really enjoy this show as it’s a CBS hit so what do i know? lol… so for those that don’t know, SMG & robin williams work at an advertising agency, where RW is a quirky, very silly minded father lol & SMG is a silly at times, but mostly tightly wound daughter…. i’m watching the rest of a ‘buffy’ epi at the moment b4 i cont. ‘the crazy ones’ so this just reminds of SMG at her finest: silly, dramatic, action-filled, funny, romantic, emotions-driven SMG/buffy :) …. i really wish that ‘the crazy ones’ had the same SMG, i think i’d love it so much more :) and RW is such a fine actor, he can do every emotion/genre and have u crying or LOL. i think ‘mork & mindy’ showcased him a bit better… scared to ask, am i wrong? so this epi in particular included my fave age group: BABIES!!! i’m a former infant/daycare teacher and i miss it dearly, i LOVED taking care of babies all day every day. simon (RW) has a longing for grandchildren so in the beginning of the epi, u see a whole conference table full of BABIES :))) … btw, only SMG would go to a public place just so she can use the bathroom in order for her beau to NOT see her go to the bathroom LOL! how r u gonna have any kind of relationship (short or long term) if u can’t do simple functions in front of the person? eating, peeing, etc r necessary functions to LIVE, farting in front of em is another story tho lol! … LOL whoa, fear of babies?! that’s SO not ok, and a HUGE dealbreaker for me lol! … ‘spider baby!!!!’ LOL ok that was cutely funny :) … LOL no way did they just do the ‘dawson’s creek’ theme song, that’s a bit much lol, i know it’s dido’s song, but it’s ‘dawson’s creek’ theme song to me! :) lol this is far-fetched but i kinda think this epi is trying to grab me so i’ll like the show more lol. c’mon, babies & the ‘dawson’s creek’ theme song (big time DC fan here!).. this epi in particular was pretty relatable to me. i hope the rest r more like this one lol!
