*** CRIME UPDATE *** 1. A burglary occurred yesterday at around 19:00 on Windsor Court (Duchess Street) in Shaw. Whilst the victim was emptying the shopping from their vehicle, the offender entered the house via the insecure front door and made off stealing a Blackberry Curve phone and a wallet. 2. An attempt burglary occurred at The Marston Tavern on Rochdale Road between the 14th of August and the 19th of August. The offender/s removed a skyline from the roof leading to the toilets but no further access was gained due to a metal locked door leading into the bar area.
