**** CUTIE WHO LOVES TO PLAY WITH EVERYONE**** A volunteer writes: King Louie was surrendered to ACC by his owners who got him as a gift. This adorable 9 month old puppy lived happily with a family of children ages 4. 13 and 15 where he was playful and got along with kids, dogs and cats. We are told he is very house trained and he did all his business outside with me on our walk. His owner describes him as playful, affectionate, friendly and excitable and I would have to agree 100%. King Louie is a joyful and exuberant puppy and showed me his appropriate puppy enthusiasm for everything without being over the top. He is a bit too thin- like a gangly teenager who is growing into his long limbs and body- yet he is composed and polite when taking treats- even the fresh roast beef that I offer him. In the park, King Louie gets excited when he sees squirrels but he is easy to distract and brings his focus back to me when I ask. He would love to say hi to every dog that we pass but since I cannot let him engage he looks wistfully as they walk by. When free in a pen, King Louie gallops after a tennis ball- more legs and less coordination- and does not know to bring it back but he is cute as can be in his attempt and enthusiasm. King Louie is really still a baby- a young pup who has had his good start in life hit by a hiccup in the road He needs someone to welcome him into their family and take up where his last family left off.
