“Calm” Before the Storm Bands of rain and isolated cells - TopicsExpress

“Calm” Before the Storm Bands of rain and isolated cells containing lightning are out in front of the main storm this evening. Rain will intensify and winds will increase overnight. Peak rain and winds will be during the morning hours tomorrow, but periods of heavy rain and blustery winds will continue through the afternoon. Travel will be most difficult in the Sierra tomorrow afternoon as heavy snow combined with strong winds will cause blizzard conditions with zero visibility likely at times. Snow levels will fall steadily during the day tomorrow from 6500 to 4500 by Friday morning. Stay tuned throughout the day – we will have updates on conditions frequently. Since Facebook does not deliver all posts even to those who have “liked” this page, I recommend bookmarking my Facebook homepage and clicking on that to make sure you see all updates. Stay safe, cozy and warm.
