During the first weeks in January they have been involved in a charitable and evangelistic project involving the distribution of “shoeboxes”. They are hoping to contact about 1000 children and their parents, teachers and other staff. Events are being held in churches, schools and other public places. They are encouraged that some headmasters invited them to tell the children the meaning of Christmas. Pray for the church in Ruba and the Nikitovs. Also pray that the “shoebox” initiative will result in people finding Christ. >Charity Morning Cafe First are holding a charity morning Sat 7th February 10:30am-1pm, donations that day will go to The Forget-me-not Group. Forget-me-not is the name of the liaison committee of bereaved parents at Maternity, Gynaecological and Paediatric wards of the Ulster Hospital. It was set up in 2007 to improve and enhance the experience of parents who have been bereaved through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or the death of a child.
