(Carrie) On the topic of WBC picketing the White House/D.C Area: Im addressing this because Ive been catching a lot comments saying They need to go picket the white house ... etc etc .... You guys do realize that when the WBC pickets the White House or Congress or any other place in D.C, its not for the reasons some of you may think is justified, right? Its quite the opposite actually. They hold up the same Thank God for Dead Soldiers Thank God for IEDs and Soldiers Die God Laughs signs. They drag around and walk on the same American flags, they sing the same stupid songs, and they hurl insults to the same kinds of people. Whether its me, you, veterans, old ladies or even the hippy on the street corner.They arent there for the reasons you think they should be there. Theres a HUGE difference in going to D.C to picket against gun control, for gun control, pro life, pro choice, gay rights, against gay rights etc etc etc versus why WBC is there. No matter what side of the coin youre on politically... youre there for a cause... to change something... to advocate for something..... When WBC is there theyre there to be the same assclowns they were 2 states away two days prior. Their protest location doesnt justify their cause... because their cause is to just be assholes no matter what zipcode they happen to be in. This is why we still block them when they come to D.C even in front of the White House... or wherever people can picket around there these days. Regardless and with that said.... Block those knob heads... seriously. Please think about what I just said. Ive been needing to get this off of my chest.
