Caught your employee with their hand in the cookie jar? CALL 911 IF THE SUSPECT IS STILL AT THE LOCATION DO NOT ENDANGER YOURSELF. If the suspect is no longer at the location you can file online at tulsapolice.org. Within a week of receiving your report we will require the following: 1) Documentation to substantiate the loss. The District Attorney will not consider approximate losses or estimations. All losses must be proven by documentation showing date, time, description and amount. (Examples include: Invoices from original purchase, receipts and invoices for the items stolen.) 2) Witness statements from anyone with FIRST HAND knowledge of the crime. You may use and copy the attached form. 3) Any information you have as to the suspects ID, such as documents collected at the time of employment or termination) 4) Information about the suspect’s current address and phone number. 5) Any written statements of guilt the suspect may have made. 6) Any video or audio evidence showing the suspect committing the crime. 7) Information about reimbursement or restitution you may be receiving. DOCUMENTS MUST HAVE THE CASE NUMBER ON THE LOWER RIGHT. That number is formatted like 2013-XXX-XXX and is NOT the T number you initially receive. If your evidence is irrefutable or your company policy requires you interview the suspect regarding the crime, and they confess, please call 911. We prefer to arrest the suspect that day while they are still at your location. Always ensure the safety of your employees as that is our primary concern.
