**Chance of a Flake or Two on Tuesday** Cold temperatures will continue as a strong northerly flow continues to spill cold air into the state. Overnight lows will continue below freezing in all areas of the county. In the mountains, lows will be mostly in the teens, with the coldest spots (Truckee!) dipping into single digits. A weak system will drop down from the north late Monday into Tuesday. This very dry - but very cold system will bring some light snow showers to the mountains and possibly into the foothills. Snow levels will be 1500-2000. This could bring a dusting of snow to GV/NC, with little to no impact due to how dry the system is. The cold continues into next weekend. A pattern change looks likely around the fisrt week of the New Year.
