“Charlotte” – a calico cat with a story! Charlotte survived a fire at her home in Orcutt when it burned down. She gave birth to kittens on that day in June. The sad part is that her owners had no idea she was even pregnant. They knew they couldn’t care for her kittens while rebuilding and didn’t want her either. Charlotte only weighed a little over five pounds when she arrived at a RESQCATS foster home with kittens to nurse. But she quickly learned how to pack in the groceries and although she is still very petite, she is looking mighty fine! I can say that Charlotte was loved as she is very people friendly and loves attention. She is the kind of kitty that puts her front paws on your knee when you are sitting or stooping to ask for love in her very gentle way. She is sweet has an out-going disposition. She is the kind of kitty who will adjust to a new home quickly. She will be grateful to have her own bed and people who will protect her and care for her, things I am sure she never had. And she has missed out on kitten-hood by raising a family at such a young age (she is just about a year) and has some catching up to do! So expect her to play with her mylar toys, and fake fur mice! Her calico markings are laced with some tabby markings and while that is unique, her eyes are what will capture your heart. Big, clear light green just full of expression and hopes for a forever home, soon. Charlotte is available for adoption through RESQCATS. She would love to hear from you and set a time to visit her. The RESQCATS number is (805)563-9424. Don’t miss out on this one…Charlotte is truly a sweetheart.
