#ChristiansMakeMistakes SATAN MADE SIMPLE Just who made Satan? Why? Many would ask, even if not publicly but in their hearts, that where did Satan originate from? Before God made the earth, he had populated the universe with angels. Lucifer who is also known as Satan or the Devil was one of them and held high among the other angels. Lucifer had Gods annointing as we are told in the following verse; Thou art the annointed Cherub that covereth; and i have set thee so: thou was upon the holy mountain of God; thou has walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thy was perfect in thy ways from the day thou was created, till iniquity was found in you - Ezekiel 28:14-15(KJV) From the foregoing extracted from Gods conversation with Prophet Ezekiel which was part of Word for the Prince of Tyrus, we are told Lucifer was indeed a Cherub created to serve God. He was perfect in Gods eye until sin was found in his heart. It is good to note that SIN was not created with Lucifer but was later found in his heart. Like the Adamic generation, God created the Angelic spirits with a total freedom of choice. Their purpose was to serve God in his heavenly work but Lucifer exalted himself which led to his expulsion from heaven. Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou has corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: i will cast thee to the ground, i will lay thee before Kings, that they may behold thee - Ezekiel 28: 17. Lucifer, we are told, was beautiful and wise. This is one of the confusing features of SATAN. He exudes an impressive character of Wisdom and brightness. And beauty that is unrivalled. We all tend to be attracted to those attributes of beauty, wisdom and brightness. With these attributes, Lucifer exalted himself. He corrupted his Godliness. He was overcome with pride of knowledge. He equated himself to his creator. He started impersonation and counterfeiting because of his brightness. Well, we learn that Satan is an expelled heavenly Cherub. We learn that he was expelled because of pride of knowledge that corrupted the Godly wisdom and pride of beauty. We also learn that God created him void of sin but with freedom of choice. And that sin found room in his heart leading to expulsion. Next instalment we will look at what Prophet Isaiah says of Lucifer.
