~~~ Clear the way! Bowl over the evil spirits and keep going, Not looking back as they lay like pins after a strike! ~~~ After fighting and having victory over temptations that we entertained and were bound with, we should keep our mind away from them or we could wind up fighting the same battle over and over when we should be pressing on and going forward. If, after winning a battle, we turn around and go back into enemy territory; our enemy will have enlisted more soldiers to fight against us. Staying in our own place and doing what we should be doing will keep us from having to fight some of the battles we find ourselves in, and from fighting the same ones all over again. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:12, 13 If they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. Hebrews 11:15 Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:1, 2 I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Philippians 3:13-16 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Luke 11:24-26 Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. John 8:34 --Cathy Crabtree
