Prepare yourself to take advantage of opportunity. Take it when it comes. Stay open to whats next ... its seldom what you expect. If youre locked into a five-year plan youll miss lifes turns. Be patient. Work hard. Never trash talk your employer OR your coworkers in public (including Facebook!), EVER. Dont burn bridges. Be the bigger man/woman. Take the looooong view. Be patient. Be patient. Be patient. Most of all ... the BIG secret to professional happiness: DONT FOCUS ON MONEY. Find a way to get paid to do something you love doing -- no matter what that is (assuming its legal). Go with God.
