#Communication - As a newbie, Ive been wondering why BH people dont get more involved. Unlike some, I dont think its because they dont care, but **because they dont know**. Communication in BH is lacking/broken. Information is too difficult to find (terrible town site) and often obtained by word-of-mouth. A helicopter view requires attendance of all TC meetings or trawling through meeting minutes. Many relevant documents (e.g. pilgrim pipeline, kings project) are not even made available online. The resulting lack of transparency affects the process and disenfranchises the voters. I suspect that last-minute reactions/fights/lawsuits (think BAC) got us the BickeringHeights nickname. There are some positive developments (e.g. taping of TC meetings, live shows on TV, recent posts of materials on the site) but more could be done to correct this. I want to do something about it and would be very interested in your thoughts and comments. EDIT: I did not mean to imply I agree with the nickname or discussions. Im trying to point out that communication/awareness is an issue that needs resolving. Please comment on that remark, dont focus on the bickering part. EDIT 2: Ive replaced the tag with communication.
