I fell in Love! - Chapter 4 A strange happiness was covering my heart when I saw her driving like a crazy bum; she had such a beautiful spark in her eyes on the thought of watching the sunset as if it was first sunset on earth ever. She did not talk to me at all; I was not interested in talking as well. I just wanted to keep looking at her silently, always. I forgot that I was a star and not a common human but I enjoyed the commonness with her. After 2.5 hours of crazy drive she stopped the car on a lonely place, it was over a hill from where a small town was clearly visible. Trees were swaying with the music of the wind while the birds were getting back to their nest by singing a happy song. I was stunned by the beauty around, that place gave me peace and I realized world is so beautiful, a place to die for. She got out of the car and the mild wind disturbed her hairs, she looked at me and pointed towards the setting sun. I looked at the big, orange and beautiful sun which dispersed its mild rays over the clouds. I have never seen such a beautiful sunset ever! It would take the sun half an hour more to set and I wanted this half an hour to be with her, in this enchanting place. She sat over the car’s bonnet and I stood supporting the bonnet as I looked at her face which glittered with the sun rays falling over them. ‘You know which town is this?’ she asked softly. I nodded my head in negation. ‘Sriperumpudur. This is the place where you were born and not Mumbai’ she said still looking at the sun. I looked at her in shock. This place was Sriperumpudur? And how did she know that I was born here? ‘Don’t look at me with such a shock. You were born here and you spent three years of your life here before moving to Mumbai due to your Dad’s job. And as per me, you signify Mumbai as your birth place because it suits your image of supermodel and not this little village. Am I right’ she said wickedly by looking at me. I had my eyes wide open and just nodded my head like a dumb. What could I have done? She had left me speechless. ‘How do you know about me?’ I asked sheepishly. ‘We both were born in this beautiful village. I was born a year later you moved to Mumbai and when I was 5 years of age, our family moved to Chennai. I was 16 years old when I saw you in the advertisement of kachua chaap mosquito repellent on print media. Your hoardings were hooked on every four ways of Chennai. My Mom recognized you; she said you were son of Mr. Arora who has moved to Mumbai years ago’. ‘Well you were my first crush. I liked you since then. You got a big break on Lakme Fashion Week and in no time, you were a recognized face of the country. After you gained popularity, you were easy to stalk on internet. I used to spend my day reading your website again and again. I am your fan you can say’ she replied with a big smile. ‘Oh wow, I was your crush huh’ I hit on her, actually “laddus” were sprouting in my heart. I felt happy, jumping and hopping wala happy. ‘Yes you were. Arjun knew I was crazy for you. I have once told Arjun that one day, I would surely meet Rehan and I will hug and kiss him. He also gave me permission to do it whenever I meet you. And look I met you, the event came to me from nowhere and I was appointed to assist you. Destiny it is, it is always there around you. You believe it or not but it is there and it would get you where you are supposed to go and you would still not know how did that happen’ she replied. ‘You believe in destiny?’ I asked softly. ‘After Arjun, yes I do’. ‘Who’s Arjun?’ She turned her face towards me and the smile from her face disappeared. I can’t stop now, I wanted to know her life and I waited for her to pour her heart out to me.
