“Conversations with Dorothy Day” will be presented in a theatrical performance in Albuquerque, Saturday, February 7, 2015, 7:00-8:30 p.m., First Congregational UCC, 2801 Lomas Blvd NE (map), with a reception to follow. The live performance of the one-woman show will be enacted by actress Sharon Halsay-Hoover of Inscape Ministries, who will depict Dorothy in scenes visiting with her friends and reading from her journals and other writings as she talks about her life.” The performance is a benefit for Trinity House Catholic Worker, a referral-based shelter for homeless women with children. The money raised will be used for a new roof for the shelter. Admission is a suggested $10 donation. All are welcome.
