**Courtesy Post** Please no bashing. This decision wasnt easy and Im absolutely devastated that it has come to this. With a heavy heart and many tears I am in search of a forever home for my 10 year old Boston Terrier. We had a baby (now a year) and since his birth, my dog hasnt acclimated what so ever. His temperament has declined and he is in a constant state of panic and stress. He licks his paws excessively and is nervous all day long. Ive tried medication, exercise and all other tricks up my sleeve to help him acclimate with out success. Today my baby tried to share his toy with the dog and fell onto him resulting in my dog snapping his face and drawing blood. I understand this was a circumstance based bite, none the less extremely traumatic. Ive been avoiding this issue for months because I know his quality if life is no longer a good one. Ive contacted some rescues but I figured I could try here as well. Okoni is 10, current on all vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. He is well socialized, prefers women over men, please no small children or large dominant dogs. I can keep him until the right home is found but it isnt easy keeping a dog thats attached to me separated from a baby thats also attached to me. Any help or references will be greatly appreciated.
