‘Creationist’ are those people who sat in back of the class room either sleeping or throwing spit balls; and now grown up, have decided to make a career out of being ignorance, with an aversion to the acquisition of knowledge and research. The fact that it takes the necessity of Mr. Holiday’s patience in writing a letter to him explaining exactly what ‘Theory’ is, is proof just how deep Mr. Line is in the Pit of Stupidity. ‘Faith’, the belief in things unseen, creates a firewall between enlightenment and darkness. With it, human progress will essentially stop in its tracks, and we would be back in the Stone Age with our rocks! How could someone argue against ‘Science’,which is the need ‘to know’, and all the resultant knowledge and technological advances that comes out of it; advance that even Mr. Line enjoys? I can surmise that for far too many people, particularly the religious, it is the fear of the unknown that frightens them. The same fear that, not too long ago, had people believing that if you cross the horizon, you would fall off the edge of the earth! Unfortunately, that same ignorance and stupidity exist among us today.
