**Cross-posting** Heres the note from Lucys Good Samaritan, Laura. Were thankful they rescued this sweet girl from the streets! Please share to help find a loving home for her, thanks! Meet Lucy! This cute little girl has been wandering the streets of South Dallas all by herself. On New Year’s Eve, with the pending rain and freezing temperatures, we couldn’t let her stay on the streets anymore. So with a little food and the promise of a warm place to sleep, Lucy let us take her in. Our co-worker, Henry, who lives near by has given her a temporary home until we find her a family of her own (although we must confess, her temporary fur brother would love for her to stay!). Lucy, who is a pit mix (perhaps some lab) and about a year old, went to the vet and was given a clean bill of health except for having “Happy Tail.” Apparently she is so happy and has so much love to give that she has wagged her tail into bleeding. The vet has put a bandage on it so it can heal and hopefully this week she will take her no more puppies pledge, as we believe she may have already had one litter.
