** Current Brisbane/Queensland storms ** Pulsey storms are in the Brisbane region and due to the nature of the very slow moving storms if it happens to develop over you expect heavy rainfall with spot falls of 50mm+ On the north tropical coast heavy rain/showers and storms have produced heavy rain in and around the North Tropical coast, the rain/showers/storms is pushing north east with 36mm falling at Cooktown AP. Big falls also in and about the Maryborough area this afternoon with 50mm+ falls. More showers and thunderstorms for tomorrow and the rest of the week as an upper trough strengthens over eastern states resulting in a deepening surface trough and low pressure. There is currently a severe thunderstorm warning in south east Queensland for DAMAGING WIND, HEAVY RAINFALL and LARGE HAILSTONES For people in parts of the Ipswich, Somerset, Scenic Rim, Southern Downs, Toowoomba, Lockyer Valley, Brisbane and Moreton Bay Council Areas.
