FOR THE FIRST TIME, WE ARE BRINGING THE INDUSTRIES CLOSER TO THE UNIVERSITY FOR ALL STUDENTS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE FOR THE BENEFIT OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, CONNECTION WITH GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS (GDP), FIELD RESEARCH INTERESTES, ETC. YOUR RESPECTIVE DEPARTMENTS ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS DAY AND PREPARING FOR IT. THEREFORE I AM SENDING YOU THIS INFORMATION ESPECIALLY FOR YOUR CAREFUL ATTENTION AND APPROPRIATE PREPARATIONS. WE HAVE OFFICIALLY INVITED MORE THAN 40 MAJOR INDUSTRIES IN THE COUNTRY AND THEY ARE EXPECTED TO BE HERE ON THE 23RD AUGUST, 2014 TO DISPLAY THEIR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AND ALSO TALK TO STUDENTS AND DEPARTMENTS. 1. All students from First to Final Years to dress up professionally, even with ties, especially during the Career Fair Day (23rd August, 2014) when all the industries are here. The outside community has been hearing negative things about Unitech. Such approach can change the image and the atmosphere around our campus. Also be aware that these industries will be your future employers. Therefore first impression is paramount. If we have been waiting to make an impact and revolutionize in our way we dress, we can shock everyone during this time!! 2. All Final Year students are asked to prepare copies of CVs, References and other appropriate documents for that occasion as some of these industries have indicated that they could engage recruitment drive for students. 3. All students other than Final Years could prepare their transcripts with other relevant academic documents as certain industries have also expressed interest to consider students for their Graduate Development Programs and Scholarships if need be. 4. Please make yourself available as to how you can assist your respective departments to successfully organize the Open Day (22nd August, 2014) and Career Fair (23rd August, 2014).
