+++++++ DEVOTION of the NOON +++++++ GOT HEART EVALUATION? How is my heart? My heart is good as it is? Really? How do I know? I just know it! Oh really? WOW! My heart is fine! No problem! It is fine, dont worry about it! I know what I am doing! BAM! The heart stopped working! Flatline! Hey, I thought my heart is good as it is! Really? I didnt know! I just didnt know! Oh no... WHY! My heart is bad! It is a problem! It is not fine, now I am worried, and I dont know what to do! A surgeon opens me up and found too many problems! Autopsy revealed. A massive heart attack. What cause it? Stress! Stress is the horrific leader of the whole issue. It has a branch that connects to stress. They are: Bitterness, Anger, Hurt, Guilt, Sorrow and UNforgiveness. A story begins.... A friend and I were chatting with our friend during our alma maters Homecoming weekend. We all were at a Bar & Grill place outside and together, we shared our laughter moments looking back to our days of youth at high school. To the point where we came together in a very supportive and concern conversation as if we were true friends, helping one another in time of need. Our focus was directly to a friend who was in need of help. Our friend expressed having stress by financial stress. Having to pay child support was much overwhelmingly and has anger issue toward the previous marriage. So much hurt our friend was dealing, the guilt and sorrow for the mistakes our friend may not admitted and REFUSED to forgive. Again, our friend grew its bitterness in the heart and the heart stopped. Where did our friend go? In life we all walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we face a lot of difficult times in life from yesterday to today and even some more down the lane that may become more of a memory lane. Everything stress has along that kills the heart, it is not worth it having it. If you have an issue that hasnt been healed for a very long time, your health declines to many problems and for your information, it is not worth it. Get it done so you can have a long lasting life. There are verses that Id like to share to help each one of us think about, it is to help us to understand the instruction of life, how to save the heart, do something better. EPHESIANS 4:31-32 said, 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (NIV) PSALM 73:21 said, 21 Then I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside. (NLT) JEREMIAH 4:18 said, 18 Your own actions have brought this upon you. This punishment is bitter, piercing you to the heart!” (NLT) Now, I want to emphasize you, I am not here to judge, I am here to help you by leading you to a closer relationship with the LORD. The LORD loves you so so so much and of course, the LORD GOD is so so so good to you and yes, ALL the time! This devotion is not just for you, it is also for me, too! We ALL have so many issues and, no, I dont need to know yours! I am encouraging you to start repairing (fixing) your hearts and be prepare (ready) for HIS COMING. There isnt much time left on earth, HE is coming real soon than you can ever think, be ready by getting your heart fixed nicely and beautifully. I am being honest with my heart, I want my heart fixed and having my dreams turn into a true destiny by going to HEAVEN is to clean my heart as well. For example, if my house is filled with filth and stench. Will someone come to my house? Will someone come and have a cup of coffee and donuts with me in my filthy & stench home? I know their answer and their answer will be N-O! Thats the same thing, GOD does not like a filthy & stench heart. This filthy and stench heart is sin. What is sin? Sin is stress, bitterness, anger, hurt, guilt, sorrow and unforgiving. So, I need to clean my heart by removing stress, bitterness, anger, hurt, guilt, sorrow and unforgiving. I know someone is very angry at someone or something and needs to be resolved and forgive. I know someone is very bitter against someone about big or small thing, needs to resolve, also with forgiveness. I know someone is very hurt and refuse to forgive. I know someone is very guilty for wrongdoings and needs to be forgiven. I know someone is very sorry and is waiting to be forgiven. I know someone who refuse to forgive, but I forgive this person for I love the person more than the persons life itself. Vice versa of the paragraph is also applying to them. Too many addition in life that bottles up, what should I do? What should you do? What should we all do? Look at JESUS CHRIST... HE died on the cross just for you and me. HE died because HE loves us so much and HE didnt have to die on the cross but HE did because HE loves us so much. HE took every single pain from our hearts so that we all can have eternal life. The best thing we all can do is to make our lives better is to let go everything and let GOD take over and let GOD heal us wholeness. HE forgives and forget our mistakes because HE loves us ultimately. MARK 11:25 said, 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. (NIV) 1 PETER 5:7 said, 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because HE cares for you. (NIV) Once I let go of everything, forgive this person... and I will be free! A perfect verse in JOHN 8:32 said, 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (NIV) How is your heart and have you gotten your heart evaluated? Dear LORD JESUS ~ Please, LORD JESUS, YOU know my heart more than anyone else and help me by evaluating my heart. Cleanse, change, mold, fulfill and heal my heart as I want to forgive someone who I truly love. I ask YOU, LORD JESUS to forgive me for what I have done wrong by helping me remove stress, bitter, anger, hurt, guilt, sorrow and help me become a better person by forgiving someone I need to in the NAME of our LORD JESUS CHRIST I pray... AMEN!
