“DONT LOSE HEART Scripture:” I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the GOODNESS of the Lord In the land of the living” (Psalm 27:13) Meditation: King David, The GIANT-SLAYER, The FIERCE WARRIOR, The ACCOMPLISHED WRITER, admits “I WOULD LOST HEART IF I HAD NOT BELIEVED.” He was one step away from giving up... Here was the only man called “A MAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART” inches away from LOSING HIS OWN HEART. LOSING HEART is a place you don’t want to see anyone go to, not even people you don’t like. People who go there often don’t come back. LOSING HEART, is when you’re in a dark place… No light. No comfort. No hope. No words to pray. NO NOTHING…. Alone. LOSING HEART is when you come to the conclusion that your devastating situation is irreversible. You believe in your HEART, that the opportunity to fix it is OVER. The relationship is OVER. The train has left the station and is never coming back. I want to encourage you to NEVER GIVE IN TO THAT GIVE UP SPIRIT… David fought against LOSING HEART… He heard the DEVIL’S voice whispering in his ear, telling him to give up… But instead he turned his eyes toward the LORD. David fired up his confidence in a PROMISE-KEEPING, PRAYER ANSWERING GOD. Despite whatever David was going through he believed that, “GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, AND ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD” People may wonder, “How you can be so strong through your tragic situation. How can you just keep going with everything that’s happening to you?” But like David, you believe in YOUR HEART, that you “would see the GOODNESS of the LORD In the land of the living.” You believe that you are going to witness God’s GOODNESS with YOUR OWN EYES… Not someday… Not from a front row seat in heaven… But in THIS LIFE TIME. YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU WOULD still be alive on earth when YOU WITNESS GOD’S GOODNESS… Glory!!! Listen: Only the LORD knows what He will have to take you through to get you where HE has predestined you to be… When you’re a CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD, eventually your value system will line up in such a way that YOU WILL CONCLUDE, THAT GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME…Through the GOOD, through the bad, Through the storms, through the rain, through hurt and through the pain… …. You will conclude that, Everything GOD allowed, everything HE withheld, every difficult season, every stretching circumstance, in every ATTACK from your haters.... … He meant for your GOOD. His disposition is kindness. His default action is for your benefit. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!! (“For the LORD is GOOD; HIS steadfast love endures forever, and HIS faithfulness to all generations” (Psalm 100:5). This morning, GOD wants you to experience His GOODNESS, IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING….. If God wasn’t going to use that hard thing for your GOOD, it wouldn’t have happened. He has to sign off on every single thing that touches your life. GOD HAS NOT BROUGHT YOU THIS FAR TO LEAVE YOU NOW!!! DONT YOU DARE LOSE HEART Prayer Thought: Heavenly FATHER, as I choose to believe YOUR WORD, I feel faith welling up in me. By YOUR GRACE, I will not despair. I believe that I will “see THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING.” ..........I WILL NOT LOSE HEART...... I believe YOU ARE GOOD ALL THE TIME, and YOU are working all things together for my GOOD. By faith I say, even in those moments when I don’t feel it, YOU ARE GOOD and I know I will see it with MY OWN EYES. Thank YOU FOR BEING A GOOD GOD…. IN JESUS’ NAME I PRAY, AMEN. Sent from my iPad
