#DSE2014m_IMP Things to keep in mind while Selecting a Engineering college:- 1.If you have Excellent marks Then select college very carefully,checkthe placement records ,faculty of the college on colleges website under training and placement [T&P] & Faculty tab respectively. 2.If you have Average Marks Try a near by college, dont go for name of city like PUNE or MUMBAI many colleges are situated in rural areas far away almost 100s km from city. This will be just a wastage of money and time,Better go for college near to you. 3.Also University is a important factor to consider as this matters at off campus recruitment. 4.When you opt any college try to get feedback of that college from seniors or someone who know about that college.[Use facebook for that purpose]Many times people get fooled by false pictures,information of colleges on their websites.So be aware. 5.Please try to maintain 60% in each sem of engineering. This is very important for your bright future. 6.Check last year cut-offs & select colleges of 3% below your percentage also,so that if cut off increases your chance of getting alloted still remains alive.!
