#DailyVictoryDevotional SUNDAY AUGUST 10 2014. TOPIC: KEYS TO BREAKING NEW GROUNDS GOLDEN SCRIPTURE: For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it – Luke 14: 28. FURTHER SCRIPTURES: Luke 14: 28 – 32; Matthew 5: 1. Everything in life has principles that govern them. In the last three days, we have been looking at breaking new grounds. By now you should have known that it does not just happen; you make it happen. There are keys you must consider to achieve the needed feat, which is what we would be looking at today. A careful study will deliver into your hands all you need to break new grounds this season in Jesus name! KEYS TO BREAKING NEW GROUND: 1. VISION: You must first see the picture of the future you want to take or the ground you want to break. It is difficult, if not impossible to possess a future or territory your mind has not captured. What you see determines what comes to you or what you receive. Jere 1:11-12. Until God finds it in your heart, He cannot put it in your hands. 2. INCUBATION: This is the part where you allow the Spirit of God to brood over your vision. Don’t be in a hurry to lunch out. Look at it from God’s perspective; frame it in the light of His word. This you do in the secret place; Ephesians 3: 20. 3. STRATEGIC PLANNING: show me that man that wants to build a house without first, sitting down to count the cost, and I will show you a man that will be overthrown on his way to breaking new grounds; Luke 14: 28 – 32. Prayer cannot take the place of planning. As you pray, do well to plan. Make a short term plan and a long term plan. Gather resources; go for the needed knowledge for your vision. Network the people you would need to make it happen. 4. EXECUTION: Finally, go ahead and break the new ground. Launch out, take strategic and calculated actions and be patient enough to wait for the desired result. PRAYER: Heavenly Father, as I apply these keys to break new grounds, make my breakthrough evident. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR PLAN: Psalms 81 – 83, Romans 11: 19 – 36.
