(Daniel) At a press conference in Pretoria at 10:00 this morning, Front National, with immense gratitude, announced that the Medical Parole Board finally approved the release of Clive Derby-Lewis on grounds of his medical condition. We are now awaiting the formality of the Minister signing it off. We are confident that Clive will be returning home soon. It was a long and difficult struggle involving hard work, protest actions, petitions, articles, visits, a complaint with the Human Rights Commission, but above all: faith and prayer. It was a costly exercise in terms of money and also emotionally challenging to the people directly involved, but it was worth every cent and every second. In the end it also stands as evidence of the fact that the voice of the Afrikaner people has not gone completely silent. From this point on we focus on self determination. We’ve crossed the first barrier in our way – now we need everybody’s help for the road ahead. +++++++++++++++++++++++++ Daar is vanoggend om 10:00 ‘n perskonferensie gehou in Pretoria waartydens Front Nasionaal, met geweldige dankbaarheid, kon aankondig dat die Mediese Paroolraad uiteindelik Clive Derby-Lewis se vrylating aanbeveel het en dat ons slegs wag vir die finale formaliteit van die Minister se handtekening. Ons is vol vertroue dat oom Clive baie binnekort sal huistoe gaan. Dit was ‘n moeisame pad met baie harde werk, protesoptogte, petisies, artikels en besoeke, ‘n klag by die Menseregtekommissie en bowenal baie gebed. Dit het baie geverg in terme van koste en het ook emosioneel sy tol geëis – maar dit was elke oomblik die moeite werd. Uiteindelik is dit ook ‘n bewys daarvan dat die stem van ons volk nog nie heeltemaal stil is nie. Nou fokus ons voluit op selfbeskikking. Die eerste hekkie is ons oor – nou het ons almal se hulp nodig vir die pad vorentoe!
