|Day 439| Leadership By Maluleke Hlulani Be careful not to take people out of their strength zone when taking them out of their comfort zone. There is an invisible thin line between a Comfort Zone and a Strength Zone. A Comfort Zone can be described as a mental space or zone where we define to ourselves; what we can do... ignoring what we capable of doing. A Strength Zone thereby being an integrated trinity of passion, talent and attitude. A leader should always be willing to take people out of their comfort zone but never out of their strength zone. Great leaders are those willing to shift people from their weaknesses and comfort zones... therein placing them into their strength location. Be careful as a leader not to fall into the trap of investing thousands into building peoples weaknesses...or reinforcing their comfort zone...but expecting exceptional results... As Maxwell always says, “you cannot take a duck to eagle school.” Dont teach people how to effectively manage & master their comforts and weaknesses...rather help them step into their strengths and potential self...
