#DaygoUnity is #NOT about a competition or going up against each other. Its about us coming together to compete against other cities to prove San Diego is being slept on. When I made the #first list back in 2012 it wasnt to start problems it was to give out city a face to the names and to document the Hip-Hop scene in general. When people use the words Top or Best thats when jealousy and envy follows so our magazine is just called 15 Artists To Look For In 2015. Thats just giving props to some of the hardest working artists out here and those of us who are in the S.D. scene regularly already know who they are. No internet competition can find out who the best is cause anybody can get they family to vote 1,000 times a day if you wanna win bad enough. Real recognize real and we see each other at all the shows, functions, and events. The #STREETS have always decided who is the top artists are and thatll never change. Lets come together not divide ourselves trying to be the best in a city thats barely known for Hip-Hop. #GetGwala
