Dear Friend, The Obama administration has created yet another Obamacare delay. This doesn’t mean the Obamacare train hasn’t wrecked; I see it as Obama starting to recognize just how bad the law is. Initially you’d face a penalty if you didn’t have a new health care policy by March 31st. But since the Obamacare website has been such a failure, the Administration first decided to delay the deadline to give folks more time to enroll and now, if you’ve started to enroll but have not finished by Monday, you’ll be given extra time before the Obamacare tax kicks in. The Obama administration is learning what we’ve known all along: most of the people signing up for Obamacare already had insurance. Taxpayers are being forced to pay $2.6 trillion for a law that isn’t helping the people it was meant to help. Frankly, delays aren’t enough. In the four years since it was signed into law, Obamacare has been nothing short of a disaster. The Obama administration itself has completely restructured the law through delays and exemptions. Instead of more delays, I’ll continue fighting to repeal Obamacare and replace it with strategic, targeted reforms.
