(Deep) Inbox Message Question: LeVar what type of advice would you give a good woman like me who only seems to attract bad men? The men I find myself meeting, dating & being in a relationship with are all liars, cheaters, immature & fear commitment. Which because of my experiences leads me to believe that there are no good men. My Response: As a woman you should focus more on who & what you accept in men, opposed to who you attract. Because who you accept is to whom you are attracted. I often hear women share your sentiments, however they seldom acknowledge their role in the men they are choosing. Which causes them to continue the cycle they find themselves in with men, & then blaming men for all their love & relationship problems. Until you can figure out why you are attracted to that type of man, you will continue to find yourself in relationships with men who attract your problems & exploit your weaknesses in & for men. Her Response: So you are saying that I am the problem? My Response: No, I am saying you are attracted to the type of men who are causal to your problems, & until you figure out why... You will continue to repeat that cycle. You stated all the men you encounter are bad men. In situations like that, you cant blame everyone else without looking at what is going on within yourself. All men are not bad men. A man can be a good man, but just not a good man for you, & that doesnt make him a bad man. Thats why having God as your foundation is so important, because your relationship with God allows you to align & be yoked with a man in what God promises. Her Response: I understand, & being honest I do have issues with men that date back to how I was treated by my father, & some other things with men that happened to me.
