Detachment, an uncountable noun, a feeling of not being - TopicsExpress

Detachment, an uncountable noun, a feeling of not being involved with someone or something in a close or emotional way. We are raised to be a grownup, but we never grow up. It is really a poetic and meaningful movie, talking about the problems from a substitute teachers opinion. The problems themselves exist for a long time, and people just ignore them. Who has the responsibility to teach students? Teachers? Parents? or themselves? The truth is, nobody cares about the education. Parents dont care because they think that is not their responsibility. Teachers dont care because they are tired. Students dont care because they dont know how to react. And the snowball is getting bigger, until nobody can stop them from destructing. We all have problems, and we bring problems to work and we bring them back home again. Nobody is a saint, and we cant just separate any responsibility, we cant just ignore the problem and believe there will be somebody to fix it. Have you ever felt stressed when you are in the public? I guarantee that everyone does. All that we need is respect. We think of someone as the person he or she should be, but we cant change their thinking or their personalities. So to defend ourselves, and fight against assimilating this dullness into our thought processes, we must learn to read. To stimulate our own imagination, to cultivate our own consciousness, our own belief systems. We all need skills to defend, to preserve, our own minds. the teacher said. Try to understand the things that you dont know, be respectful to people and things that you dont understand, be involved in people around you, only if you want to have the same treatment from others. There is nothing to do with who is stronger or smarter, it only depends on how you listen and how you learn. Director: Tony Kaye Cast: Adrien Brody #BensonMovieReview
