(Disclaimer: this is not judging, nor is it directed towards anyone. Were all somewhere on this spectrum...) It is interesting to me to see how different people are in what theyre willing to do to try to heal their bodies. (I guess the same could be said in the realm of preventative maintenance as well, but thats not where Im at right now.) Upon a diagnosis of a chronic and/or potentially fatal condition: -some people just give up -some people are stubborn, maintain all habits, and say this is me and if it kills me, it kills me -some rely on medicine to manage -some change a few habits that seem to be manageable -some change any and all habits that need to be changed to heal themselves, regardless of what that looks like and combinations of several of those to different degrees. What do you think it is that makes peoples decisions so different? What do you think your decision would be? (Or if its not hypothetical, what was/is your decision?) Why?
